My Random Act of Kindness

I was extremely thankful for the Parking Gods helped me find a spot on a very busy street. As soon as I got out of my car, I noticed that the car parked next to me had a key dangling on it’s key hole. I didn’t hesitate to take the key as I put myself in that persons shoes. But then I had to think about how I should rectify the situation. Option A - wait for the owner to return. Of course, a second later, it crossed my mind that I could be waiting there forever. Option B - leave a note on the dashboard stating that the key is underneath the car. But anyone can read the note, pick up the key and leave with the car. Finally, Option C - I’ve decided to leave a note that says “Hi, You left your key. Call me at 415-***-****. -Ellaine”. An hour later, I got a text and a phone call. I was still skeptic about the person so I asked if he can identify how the key chain looked like. Alas, we have a winner. I told him where I was at and he came right over. I handed over his key. A thousand thank-you’s later, he insisted that I take his $20. Successfully carrying out a random act of kindness is indeed the best feeling in the World.

Watch the sun as it rise

And find solace in the meadow

 

Let’s sleep in because we are together

Then explore the World and life’s endeavor

 

We’ll enjoy the day until the moon glows

And look forward to another morrow

 

One look from my eyes to yours,

the love that we have continues to grow.

 

 

 

Most Romantic Image

I remember seeing this couple in one of my trips to Europe. The man had a certain charisma to him. He looked so confident while she looked quite appealing. They were walking around and all of sudden they paused in the middle of the famous square, Piazza San Marco in Venice, Italy and started kissing while holding each other so tightly. It was the most romantic sight I’ve ever seen in real life. There was no ounce of indecency but pure love and passion was heartfelt. And you can tell that they didn’t care what everyone thought or who saw them make out, for these two love birds were simply in love. You can hear their hearts beating and longing for each other. I realized I want to have that same passion where the world stops for us and it doesn’t matter who sees or what anyone thinks but what matters is that two of us are together, in the now, in each other’s arms, loving each other, wanting each other, wanting to never let each other apart. That’s the kind of passion I want in my life. We create the life we want to live and I want to make this magical moment happen for me.
